Jens: Oops! My mistake. You are of course correct.

Sandygates, she was converted in May/June 1996 at Santander, Spain, and renamed Hydrogas III. In 2004 she was only renamed Yara Gas III...

Thank you very much, Ken. I think Yara Embla and Yara Froya are far from looking as good as Yara Gas I & II. Maybe Yara Gas III survived until now because albeit being the oldest she's the biggest of the old trio.

Kind regards,
Jens

Nice shot of her Jens, all three were regulars on the Thames for years and always looked very smart, this one is still around along with Yara Embla and Yara Froya
Kind Regards
Ken

Bendt, thanks a lot! - And it's nothing personal, it's just that I don't like yards starting with scrap or grave:-))

Denis! - The spiteful graveyard :-))

Very nice picture Jens.

Denis, in this case I must defend Bendt, he's not guilty. Yara Gas I & II were both scrapped at Frederikshavn, not at Grenaa (seems like the Danish have an appetite for Sietas ships in general, though) :-D

Thanks a lot for your nice comment. Yes, she's a beauty (and the sun seems to have wanted a look at her, too), my favorite little tanker together with Viscaria.

Kind regards,
Jens

At least you managed to have her in your collection before that evil Bendt could swing his cutting torch at her! :D
Great shot, Jens, great shot! I like ships that have a fair combination of red, grey & white in their livery.

Regards,
Denis
