Description:

Mayamar Marine Enterprises of Piraeus had operated the 92,000 dwt tanker THISEAS between 1986 and 1989. She is seen passing Terneuzen in April 1987.

Built at Ancona in 1976 as AL IDRISSI for Compagnie Petroliere Marit (PETRAMAR) of Morocco, she took the following names after her three year period of ownership by Mayamar:

1989 MELINA TWO
1993 WORLD PEACE, then VICTORY
1994 THUNDER, then GLORY, then CROSS II
1995 STAVROS I - anchored Fujairah 12.5.97, reportedly sold to Pakistan breakers - sailed 9.8.97 without change of name but believed broken up at Chittagong as VENTURER
