@sandygates. She has propellers at both ends. It is not unusual for passengers to rush for seats at what was the bow end coming into Circular Quay and find themselves facing aft on the trip to Manly. Bow propellers are used for "braking" when arriving at a wharf. I like your "technical" description!

Thanks Tony. I was at the eastern Middle Head fort. Narrabeen has just sailed into its lee from very strong westerly wind gusts
