Great Lakes Fleet's integrated tug-barge unit PRESQUE ISLE is shown while fitting out from her winter lay-up berth at the Mounfort Terminal in Erie, Pa., 5:37 p.m. 21 March 2006. The tug is backed out of the barge and ballasted down at the bow to allow crews to work on the _PRESQUE ISLE's ever-troublesome propeller shaft seal.

In a matter of days the PRESQUE ISLE will depart Erie upbound for Two Harbors, Minnesota to load her first iron ore cargo of the season.
