Thanx Neil for the link. Once i had it, but with the installation of my new computer i somehow disappeared and also thank you, Yvon for your comment. So perhaps we agreed on the manufacturer .... But with the determination of a specific ship will be a problem, because ships of this type in different versions were built in large numbers. It seems that the truth Yvon; cranes type as the photo Hungarians not used. This is obviously a later improvement. Brgds asnyk

Dear Asnyk,
It was most kind of you to spend many time in the Soviet ships lists, unfortunately without success.

I followed your idea about Budapest shipyards products and particularly Angyalfold Shipyard, and found one ship which could match (as I had noted AL F? on the back of the photo) :
- AL FERDAWA II, GT1201, built in 1967 as Norwegian PETRO PRINCE (IMO 6824563).

Please have a look to the photo as COMINO taken in the same angle : http://www.shipspotting.com/gallery/photo.php?lid=1698608
It is the same mast with small 45° arm for gonio antenna.
I could not find a pic with the crane, obviously added.

Thank you very much for your kindly help.
Regards,
Yvon

Hi Yvon. So i passed all Russian ships known to me, but i could not find anything like it. It is look like ships Elva/Tartu type by shipyard Budapest, Hungary, but these were Samson mast and double mast above the superstructure. Older type from the same yard had two single masts and other superstructure (funnel). But it could be a rebuilding .... rgds.
