The position, where the ship went missing has nothing to do with the Bermuda Triangle, last position was abt. 1000 nm north of it, but south of Cape Race, Newfoundland.
This region is well known for its extreme bad weather in the winter with extreme high freak waves.
I made 2 voyages from Europe to East Coast of the USA in 1967, on a ship which was much bigger.

- On 24.02.1987: last communication received from 1000 n. m. NE of Bermuda. This disappearance left no traces and still raises questions of all kinds !
