5 e.a. units of series (Jane, Jessie, Jacob, Jeppesen, Jesper)were built 1975 - 1977 by Kaldnes Mek Verksted, Tonsberg, Norway. Sailed on ex-Jeppesen Maersk. Very good vessels!

Nice shot, these N-Class Maersk ships were the first really large (black) product tankers. They were built at Moller's own Lindo yard, and in order not to alert the competition, the yard reported them to the likes of Fairplay etc as being OBO carriers.
