Description:
On Sun 26th March 2006 the Royal Navy amphibious assault ship HMS Ocean paid a visit into the Firth of Forth, anchoring just of the coast of Dalgety Bay while awaiting clearance for entry into Rosyth Naval Base. Using it's compliment of Mk5 Landing Craft Vehicle & Personnel (LCVP) vessels to ferry it's troops ashore for leave. Having just deposited the last consignment of troops, Craft No: N2 & N4 (lead craft) leave Hawes Pier in South Queensferry while en route back to their mother ship at 15:10.
