Captain or pilot on this kind of ships doesn't make much different than on others. The smaller vessels will call smaller ports, and also smaller space. Relative it's the same. When loaded the weight is much larger, action have to be taken much earlier and with more force of tug boats.
And when same something happening with such a vessel it will receive much more media attention, because enviroment is more effected by large number of fuel on board

Brill !! Always amazes me how large they are once you get up close ! However, still wouldn't like to be the skipper/pilot bringing one of these into port !
