This must be a very rare colour pic of this old beauty. I well remember her and sistership BRITANNIA on the Tilbury-Gothenburg route but did not have a 'proper' camera at the time. They were replaced in 1966 by a ro-ro ferry service which also served Hull. The Tilbury service was operated mainly by Swedish Lloyd's SAGA but also frequently featured Stockholm Rederi AB Svea's SVEA and Ellerman Wilson's SPERO, from the Hull service. Another sister, Swedish Lloyd's PATRICIA, plied between Southampton and Bilbao.
