Three cement carriers which were laid up at cement factory wharf broke their mooring lines and were beached in Split by a storm on Mar 5, 2015. All three vessel were unmanned. Two vessels were drifting about 2.15 miles. The third, the "Vranjic", drifted 5 miles to Slatine on near by Čiovo island.
