Description:

The CHARLESTON was built in 1945 by the shipyards Berthon at Lymington for the Royal Navy. After the war, it's transform as yacht in Portugal and stay at Cannes until 1971, then at Saint-Cyprien until 2004 before to go to the Cap d'Agde, where it's moored on this photo.

Le CHARLESTON a été construit en 1945 par les chnatiers navals Berthon à Lymington pour la Royal Navy. Après la guerre, il est transformé en yacht au Portugal et rest à Cannes jusqu'en 1971, puis à Saint-Cyprien jusqu'en 2004 avant de venir au Cap d'Agde, où il est amarré sur cette photo.

Sorry to answer you with late, but I'd not check the comments on my photos since few days.
Thank you for the original registration number of this ship. I'm not sure, but I believe it had left the Cap d'Agde because it wasn't at its usual place this week.

My research colleagues inform me she is the former Admiralty MFV 1224. Good find as well as the OMEGA. Will look into her identity. Tony

It's one of the few old ships that I've photographed. While searching in my gallery, you also can found the OMEGA (1917), the LA SAVOIE (1895) and the L'ALMÉE (1887)
