A.A. Johnson's streamlined 1950 Malmö built LIONS GATE is seen passing Battery Point inbound for Avonmouth from Vancouver via Port Hueneme, California, on 12th June 1965, almost fifty years ago.
1973: converted to livestock carrier FARID FARES
27.3.80 on fire and sank 200nm south of Adelaide three days later during a voyage from Fremantle to Bandar Mahshahr with a cargo of sheep
