The purchasers dry-docked her and spent several months making alterations to the accommodation & general repairs.

Keel laid on 28/09/1981, launched on 23/02/1982 and entered into service on 30/03/1982, by YVC Ysselwerf bv, Cappelle a/d IJssel, Netherlands (203)
1,063 g.t. and 1,522 dwt., as:
'Ariadne' to 2014 and
'Dzintajura' since.

Vessel was lengthened in 1987, becoming 89.3m length overall, with new tonnages of 2,180 g.t. and 2,044 dwt.
