Irish Willow and Irish Rose were chartered by Clarke Steamship Co., Ltd., for service between Montréal and Corner Brook, Newfoundland, between April and November 1960. The Irish Rose was chartered by Newfoundland Forwarders, Ltd., for the 1962 season in essentially the same service and both vessels returned under charter to Clarke for the 1963 and 1964 seasons.

The Wikipedia article on Irish Shipping Ltd note, in relation to IRISH ROSE and her two sisters: "These were smaller vessels, with accommodation aft and twin holds. Originally designed primarily for Baltic trading they were utilised on the North Atlantic and even saw service in South America and the far north of Canada in Hudson Bay."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irish_Shipping

Perhaps it was those Hudson Bay voyages?

I believe she was on charter to Clarke SS but cannot find evidence at the present time.
