Description:
Donaldson Line's 1961 Aberdeen built LETITIA is seen passing Portishead, outbound from Avonmouth, fifty years ago this weekend.
She had sailed from Chicago on 6th May 1965 and Montreal on 14th May bound for Liverpool, Swansea and Avonmouth.
Sold to Mexico in 1967, she became BIBI until renamed TEPIC in 1977 and then sold to Venezuelan operators in 1984
Renamed TEPORA, she suffered a collision and fire on 11th March 1985 when bound for Vera Cruz and sank the following day under tow after the fire restarted
