Launched as COETA (visible on the hull), 1971- KHOROSHO, 1975- JAL MAHAVIR, now reported as continued existence in doubt.
Note that originally, as COETA, she had not the well in the hull form.

Thanks Yvon, I am familiar with the port, I have stayed in what was then called the Kilimanjaro Hotel, with a very nice view over the entire port. So from what you say, she may have actually left from there. But on the other hand she might have been scrapped in situ.

She was in the port of Dar Es Salam, in the SW of what is called now Zanzibar ferry terminal.

Do you remember where she was berthed? At the south end of the creek, the graveyard of the port of Dar Es Salaam?
