Hi Captain Ted, as i wrote, those ships were seven: Freedenburg, Müggenburg, Ana Christina, Ana Luisa, Hamburger Damm, Hamburger Wall and Iron Baron. The last one was different that she had Stulcken and once i saw it in the Far East. Here are the details. Rgds. http://www.australianmerchantnavy.com/apps/photos/photo?photoid=182915847

@asnyk,,the vessel you refer to looks like the same class as the FREEDEBRUG - MUGGENBURG build at Neptune in Rostock, I sailed on Freedeburg and Neuenburg as AB
while they were in management of Barthold Richter in HH and later management for Eugen Friedrich, Bremen, as Roland Atlantic and Roland Pacific

IMO 7042356 MING JIANG is listed as Type 381 in Miramar. Originally built as as ILRI for Reederei Barthold Richters, Hamburg. Later acquired by Reederei Jonny Wesch, Hamburg as WILHELM WESCH (see http://www.shipspotting.com/gallery/photo.php?lid=2310031). She appears to be still wearing the Wesch funnel mark in this photo

Hi davidships, it's not true. Neptune-421 type were other ships, it was East German attempt to "neoliberty ships". For example here: http://www.shipspotting.com/gallery/photo.php?lid=2019057

MING JIANG listed as a Neptun 421 (is that right?)
Deleted from LR/IHS 2004 as continued existence in doubt.

Yes, it is one of the seven ships Neptun-381 type (Hamburger Wall), built from 1970 to 1973.

Not the other MIN JIANG on Miramar, either, as that vessel was an SD14.
Kind Regards, Kyle

Looks more like a product of the "Neptun" yard at Rostock, East Germany

That's not right IMO. It's not type 36L.
