Cheers Phil, it wasn't to everyone's liking, especially the funnel

What a lovely photo Allan. This colour scheme was one of my favourites when I started shipspotting. In bright sunlight it was simply stunning.

Thanks for the comments guys; you are right Bob, the Pando names were horrendous and I can understand your preference for the Straths...and I think you too are right about Zak, John althouth I'm not certain about the name...

In my view Allan she went back to much more tasteful markings in her final guise as 'ZAK'.

But give them them their due, the P&O Group's corporate image makers did get rid of the silly "PANDO" names and opted for the more interesting "Strath" prefix. On the other hand they wiped out at a stroke the individual identies of the many companies P&O had gobbled up in the years before.

Looks good to me,,the colour combination

Back when P&O thought that giving everything a blue funnel and awful hull colour would somehow make it all profitable.
Interesting to see the parallels in that sense with what Carnival UK are doing to P&O Cruises these days.

A grand sight indeed Mr. Dot, but rather a garish colour scheme and hideous funnel markings
