The 1939 Malmo built GEORGIOS M., the former TORRENS of Wilh. Wilhelmsen sold to Greek owners in 1966, is seen on the Kiel Canal passing Hochdonn westbound from Gdynia on 15th July 1969 after discharging a cargo loaded in North Korea.

GEORGIOS M. was owned by E.T.Kolintzas and P.S.Maltakis but managed by M.A.Karageorgis whose funnel colours she wore.

GEORGIOS M. had arrived at Hsinkang (now Tianjin Xingang) on 13th April 1970 for breaking but it is possible that she had continued trading locally for Chinese owners.
