Hi BobS, I uploaded Caroline Maersk after reading your comment http://www.shipspotting.com/gallery/photo.php?lid=2358826 . S class also heightened but only by two decks. Photo taken this year .. Caroline not in bad nick for 15 years old.

Bob, gradually, the earlier unaltered members of this class have visited China (over the past 12 months), where the work was undertaken to bring them up to the spec the later versions left the yard with - at least they all look the same now!

A number of Maersk boxcarriers have had three decks added below bridge for extra TEU's and subsequent bridge visibility

I am a bit puzzled by this one. In the earliest photos of her on the site, she has the lower superstructure of the 7,450 TEU version of the Maersk Sammax type. Now the upperwords seem to have grown to the taller, 8,600 TEU version. Rebuild? Name-swap? Anyone know?
