CALCITE II (Duluth, Minnesota, United States) - 24 August 1983 - Photographed while she was sailing downbound in the Welland Canal approaching Port Robinson, Ontario, Canada.. She was likely heading to Hamilton with a cargo of coal.. Original Kodachrome slide by Don Dube..

She was buit in 1929 at Lorain, Ohio as WILLIAM G. CLYDE. Renamed CALCITE II in 1961 and then MAUMEE by Lower Lakes Towing in 2002. She was cut up for scrap at Port Colborne in 2013/14..
