I think she a FREEDOM MARK II, type built by the famious Japanese yard IHI that time based on the designs of Canadian. Many-many Greek shipowners built that time on IHI including ANANGEL SHIPPING ENTERPRISES. A similar vessel can be seen on this site as well, the SAINT DEMETRIOS imo 7623002, on which i have served during the late 80's as an AB, CADET, THIRD OFFICER in a row....Good vessels for general cargo with very strong HSD ie Horizontal Slewing Cranes used for heavy blocks, construction materilas and others. The nomber 4&5 derricks could combined to work together for a minimum of 50tons cargoes on a single lift. A huge capacity that time...

Built for and owned for 33 years (!) by late Vassilis Scarvelis family (Scarmar Shipping Agencies, Piraeus, Greece). In fact Scarvelis had owned a series of fortune type twin deckers, ordered by him at IHI in early till late 70's. I think "Pella" was the last ship to go for scrap after 33 years of trading. Today the company is led by late Vassilis Scarvelis' son Constantinos albeit with no ships as yet.
