I sailed on the sister-ship of this one, OOCL Inspiration, in 1995. Originally built for U.S. Lines, at that time they actually were owned and operated by Sea-Land, not OOCL. During that period Sea-Land had some sort of complicated cargo-sharing agreement with OOCL, CGM, Nedlloyd and P&O. As a result, some of the Sea-Land ships were re-painted in the livery of those other companies and given new names to match. That was the reason why this ship was called "Nedlloyd Hudson" for a while, and subsequently "OOCL Innovation". Two other ships were painted in P&O markings and renamed "Galveston Bay" and "Newark Bay", and yet another was painted in DGM colors and renamed "Ile de France". Nevertheless, however, they were all still operated by Sea-Land, and retained Sea-Land crews.
