Description:
SS "Forlandet" shot by me in Holmestrand abt 1995. She is built in Svelvik, Norway in 1921 as whale catcher, operated from land station Grytviken in the Antarctic, later rebuilt as tug for the yard Framnes Mek. Verksted, Sandefjord, Norway. Later veteran ship. When I shot her, she was engaged in towing SS "Styrbjørn" for dry-docking i Drammen. SS "Forlandet"; steam engine 650 HP. 200 GrT. Scanned from my paper color picture.
