ADMIRAL PURISIC, keel laid 23.3.1979 and completed 21.9.1979. Flag Yugoslavia for Yadroplov. GRT 11.987, tdw 14.330, Length 162,30 m, beam 22,30, 1 Diesel 18 knots. Renamed 1991 ALKA, broken up in Alang beg. 26.1.2000. Built by Khersonsky Shipyard. Khersonsky Shipyard (KhSY) was founded in October 1951 as a basic yard for merchant shipbuilding in the Soviet Union. Today KhSY is one of the biggest shipyards in Ukraine. During 60 years KhSY has built over 370 vessels and other marine crafts of 35 projects, including tankers of various modifications, dry cargo vessels, research, ice-breaking and drilling vessels, containers and ore carriers, arctic supply carriers etc. The total deadweight of the built vessels has reached 5 million tons.
