@ Tonker (Ben)

You bet, Ben, the crew feels the rolling, during storm conditions, being high up there on the ship's bridge during their duty.
Just imagine,, if you were on the top floor of a 13-tier high building/skyscraper and that "thing" would start inclining 10-15 degrees to the right side, and then, 10-15 degrees to the left side, and so on, for a couple of hours or maybe even a day(s). Seasick !???... in any case,, the stomach doesn't feel like on solid land !!! ... had experience with that !

You are right, Ben, the spring time is almost "at the door and you can feel its pleasant smell in the air"... and I can already recognize these better weather conditions by the wonderful light effects on my photos that I have shot on the early morning of yesterday and today... shall post them in due time !

Kind regards from Rijeka, Croatia
Jadran

@ Clyde
On my Nikon D5200, I unfortunately use only the lens 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR, therefore, am forced to crop the image before editing to obtain a close-up appearance in final.
Clyde,, one curiosity..... if you take a close look at this pic,, you can well see the ship's Captain and the Pilot standing inside the enclosed portside bridge wing !!!
Best regards & wish you good photo sessions !
Jadran

@ Tomislav
Thank you, Tomi, once again,, shall send a PM to you !

@ echobow (David)

Thank you, David, for your much "special" comment, and I'm pleased to tell you something in that connection:
In one of my below comments,, I have already mentioned the containership GRETE MAERSK (IMO 9202889) and that series of shots is indeed a "Blue ship ALL IN GOLD"..... shall post in due time !!!

Cheers... and all the best,
Jadran

Excellent work as always, Jadran, I notice she now has the elevated superstructure, I wonder if the crew feel the rolling motion more from a higher level like that? I hope nobody gets seasick, haha! Wont be long now and you`ll be having nice warm weather.
Thanks again mate. Regards from Ben.

What a good angle from your elevated position. Was it close up or a well cropped shot?

Well done Jad, what an eminent photograph! You surely have an eye and a heard of gold for the blue Maersk-ships. So Blue Master 1 instead of "Blue Master II": http://www.shipspotting.com/gallery/photo.php?lid=2261637

Kind regards, David

Hello Tomislav... Dobar dan,, thank you very much ! :-)

Jadran

*I must say that your usage of Croatian language is in good order,, I would personally like if you would visit Croatia, the country of your "roots", in some soon time (again !?) and us two to get acquainted,, we would have plenty to speak about......
Sincere and warm regards from Croatia,

Hi Vlad,
Yes indeed,, she was rather well/satisfactory loaded with container boxes on her arrival to Rijeka !
For the mooring operation she was assisted with 2 tugs, however, they can not be seen at this angle on the photo ( 1 tug by the aft part + 1 tug by the forward part of the ship).

Many thanks for your kind comment, Vlado !
Greetings from Rijeka,
Jadran

She looks very business-like, almost ready to dock by herself... :)

Well spotted, thanks for sharing!
