Thanks, Capt. Ted, it was only my idea/suggestion - as "Hulked at Puerto Cabello" was a note on miramar. Sorry for confusion. Found this photos from 2001: http://www.travbuddy.com/photos/blogs/4721140

PHa,, that makes now sense,, there were two more wrecks in PBL, and one was named by a pilot Bianca Maria,,but when I posted that, it was said that it is not the Bianca Maria,,the one in PBL. If she was in reality towed north, for whatever reason,,then she could very well been wound up on Klein Curacao,, I know that I saw the wreck the first time in early 90,s,,then from the distance she looked like she was at anchor ,one only realized that she was a wreck and beached when one came closer. here the two others in PBL (not anymore there)

The "Mar Dorada" and the "Dorys Helena"
The former was always mistaken with the Bianca Maria.

Built as GUIDESMAN by Drypool Engineering & Drydock Co Ltd. at Hull for Rowbotham Tankships Ltd. Launch date 16.9.1964, completed in November 1964, yard no. 12, length 61,9 m, beam 9,4 m, sub history 1983 VASILIKI IV - 1987 BIANCA MARIE. Hulked at Puerto Cabello in 1988 due to damaged main engine. Puerto Cabello is 200 Kilometes southerly from Klein Curacao. Maybe ship was shifted to Curacao but get lost on the beach of Klein Curacao.
(soureces: miramar, 7seasvessels). Hope this may assist. Regards Peter

This appears to be the former British tanker Guidesman Blt 64 for Rowbothams til 83 under this ownership. Grt 798. Other pictures & history appear on this site under the name Maria Bianca. A look at these pages will give history of other ex names. Marlon
