The tug LUCY FRANCO (U.S. ON 645701) was built at Providence RI in 1981. Her builder is given as Coastal Pilots Inc. on the website Tugboat Information.COM. In 1994 she was purchased by Harley Marine Lines and ownership put under their Olympic Tug & Barge trade name. In early 2016 she was chartered by the Avalon Freight Service to tow ro/ro barges between Mainland California and Catalina Island. She's shown here with the barge ISLANDER II. At 97 gross tons, she doesn't merit an IMO number.
