Description:

I am almost 100% sure that this is SMOLNYY, but maybe someone can confirm? The pennant number appears to be different than on older photos (it used to be 210). Seen at Kronshtadt, 28/6/'16.

Pierre 44117, the pennant number 210 was carried by Khasan (originally 227)- reported decommissioned 1998 and placed in reserve. Perekop was 200, but this may also have changed. Perhaps tost can confirm

Thanks tost for the confirmation

As a curiosity, during the Soviet era ships were sometimes sighted with different pennant numbers on port and starboard sides.

If I look at the name located below the three life boats aft I think I cam make out an L and a Y which would indicate that it is Smolnyy. The alternative would be Perekop since the third sister was scrapped at the turn of the century. But Perekop is, I think, with the Black Sea fleet and used? to carry the pennant number 200.
To change the pennant number was practiced by the Soviet navy and has carried over to the Russian. Supposedly to make it harder to track individual vessels.
