The Iranian government apparently bought the ship "as is", i.e. completely furnished including dining room china and bar stocks. The IIN officers got the first class cabins, the enlisted other accommodations, which weren't so great since there were no port lights in the lesser cabins. The IIN hired a drilling rig caterer to operate the Atlantico Bar and the Excelsior restaurant at least until 8/1978.
