Description:

SD14s seem to be flavour of the month - so here's my contribution. Serra Azul, a Brazilian version delivered by Companhia Comercio e Navegacao Maua, Niteroi, on 01:03:1974 to Empresa de Navegacao Alianca S.A.

After being sold in 1983 and renamed several times, she survived until she had problems in 1998 when she lost power and one hold was flooded at which time she was laid up at San Antonio Este, ARG. Resold she was resold and became the Celine, which suffered an engine breakdown in the River Plate on 15:05:2001. She was eventually sold to Bangladesh breakers, who commenced demolition at Chittagong on 5 December 2001.
