Indeed Werner, when looking again, I also noticed the two are very different indeed. It did also occur to me that very little work appears to have been done to the EL MELLAH since her launch almost a year ago, on 7/11/'15: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qPuB92yr7J4

It indeed looks like she is well out of schedule for being finished, certainly there is a reason for it. As long as we don’t know about, it only can be a guess. Although LE QUY DON and EL_MELLAH were designed by Zygmunt Choreń, I don’t see much of similarity.

Looks as if something may have gone wrong with the contract. LE QUY DON was less than 15 months from keel lay to delivery. Keel of EL-MELLAH was laid end-Jan 2015 for intended delivery 11/2016 - looks more as if work has stopped. Hope that you have a chance to keep an eye on this one, Jerzy.

Looks quite similar to the ship for Vietnam. They are taking their time on this ship. Launch was already on 7/11/'15.
