Built as "Balder Cabot" at Marystown, Newfoundland, 1981. On 27th November 1981, the crew of "Balder Cabot" led by C/O Peter Cunningham, boarded the abandoned Liberian bulk carrier "Euro Princess" off Sable Island, Nova Scotia, and connected the towline of the "Seaforth Conqueror", which towed "Euro Princess" to Halifax, N.S., under a Lloyd's Open Form obtained by Cast. Alan Knight of "Balder Hudson" as he attempted to rescue the crew of "Euro Princess".
