Description:

June 1978, the 75 feet Canadian Naval Training vessel YAG 314 (CARIBOU) alongside the HMCS QUADRA Flotilla floats. In service 1954/2007, sold in 2011. Replaced by the ORCA class PCT57, CARIBOU.
Ship's complement : 12 Trainees (Sea Cadets) aged between 15 and 16, at sea for a 5 days seamanship training cruise. The cook and the engineer were 18. The Officers (STO, XO, CO) were aged from 20 to 25 and were posted on board far a 90 days mandate.

Hi Dennis,
Actually the 314 is at G.W Kleaman Marine since 2011. Easy to recognize, instead of having fairleads embed into her gunwales, she has cleats on top of her gunwales. Likewise for the 316 and 318.
Also. according to the Chantier Saint-Laurent I.O. archives, 5 YFM (YAG)and 2 YDT were built, including the 314. Plus, according to Jane's 316 and 318 were built in P.E.I.
But the can be wrong...or the received the wrong informations.
