The 7th of 8 products tankers under construction at General Dynamics NASSCO in San Diego was launched at high tide without ceremnony and christened the next weekend. Built for Seacor Bulk, she was originally assigned the name SEACOR LIBERTY, but the name was shortened to LIBERTY before the start of construction.
