Description:
A beautiful vintage tjalk is seen here moored at Vreeswijk/Province of Utrecht (The Netherlands). She was in use as a cargo vessel from 1899 until 1988 and was extensively rebuilt into a sailing house boat in 1997. Another rebuild took place in 2001 including the fitting of a DAF 615 diesel engine. She is part of the Dutch sailing heritage collection Varend Erfgoed with RVEN No.1065 allocated.
