It's not best worded, Pieter, but 'scrapyard ships' has always been intended to mean 'ships at a scrapyard', to the best of my knowledge. That's what you'll see when you open the category.

The category is called "Scrapyard ships" and not "Ships at a scrapyard" so I think it is correctly located, although of course you can argue that any ship in theory is a scrapyard ship (at some time during her life time)

This might be pictured about to go for scrap, but it's not a 'scrapyard ship' in the shipspotting category sense.
