Dear Allan, hi. The "S" which appeard on her funnel, similar to the Scarvelis family house flag, is of the Japanese charterers Sojitz. Sojitz had many fortune and freedom type vessels on charter at the time.

IHI Fortune type. She also carried the blue funnel with a white 'S' of Scarmar Agency in a pic I have of her taken in 1977 and was carrying the normal Anangel funnel in pics taken in 1985 and 1988.

AMILLA (which in Hellenic means "noble competition"), was built for late Antonis Angelicoussis and traded for the company for 25 years indeed! The lack of the Anangel house flag on the funnel - the shamrock - probably means she had just terminated a time charter with a charterer that had a clause on the charter party "that funnel must be painted with charterers colours at charterers time and expense. at terminationof charterer time and expense to restore Owners' colours to be equally for charterers' account".

May I make a chauvinistic remark? When she is passing Maassluis inbound, the location of the photographer is Rozenburg.....Amilla was scrapped in 1997 so she traded for 25 years under one name only.
