Although built as a container ship, this vessel shows the derivation of her design from that of a cargo liner. She was built in 1980 as AUSTRAL PURITAN for Farrell Line and most recently was renamed by Horizon Lines. When their routes were sold, Pasha Hawaii Lines assumed control of this ship and repainted her in their colors without renaming her.
