Description:
Transmarin Hamburg's 1952 Hamburg built ASTRID is seen passing Gravesend, outward bound from London on Friday 28th July 1967 for Beirut.
She suffered a fire and explosion, sinking 15 miles north of Astipalaia, on 23rd April 1973 while on voyage from Gocek to Rotterdam with a cargo of chrome ore
