Hi Marc, sorry i don't come often on this site and i've just seen your question. I confirm that the USS Jason Dunham left right before the parade. I also remember that during the evening, i saw on MarineTraffic apps that both ships were be side by side front of Mont Joli.

Security reasons were invoked in the email I received. The sender had the opportunity of a zodiac cruise along the gathered ships but was unable to get near the destroyer.

Merci M.Arcand. Wonder why JASON DUNHAM didn't participate in the parade. Probably security reasons tied to a probable terrorist attack risk. Matter closed. Thanks for your help.

@Marc Piché. Question not standing any more. The US ship left Québec July the 23rd in the morning, before the parade. I made a mistake while reading the picture's information, it was taken at 7;59 AM and I obtained a confirmation of this by receiving an email from the administrator of the site "Québec vue du sud".

@Marc Piché. You are right about the date of the picture, it was taken on July the 23rd at 07;59 PM. I saw several pictures of the parade lead by the NCSM TORONTO but no one with the DUNHAM. The question still stands.

On July 22 she was still dockside at Québec City. Here she's shown underway going downbound definitely on July 23. The date shown by Shipspotting can be offset by 24 hours here in North America. Happens to my posts all the time. So my question to Luc Morrisette still stands. Was the JASON DUNHAM part of the parade in front of Québec or did she leave the dock directly bound for sea?
