HS KOUNTOURIOTIS F462 = ex Hr.Ms. Kortenaer F807, lead ship of the class, commissioned 1978
HS KANARIS F464 = ex. Hr.Ms. Jan van Brakel F825, commissioned 1983.
They belong to the Standard Frigate class or "S-fregatten" in Dutch. This class is considered to be one of the most succesful and cost effective warship classes ever to have been built in the Netherlands.
