The Dutch Shell tanker ACTEON, built at Rotterdam in 1961, is seen passing Portishead, outbound from Avonmouth, exactly fifty years ago today, on Saturday 23rd September 1967. Her previous voyage was from Curacao and Punta Cardon to the River Thames, Rotterdam and Stanlow.

She finally arrived at Chittagong on 31.7.85 for breaking
