Built: 1958 by Kieler Howaldtswerke AG, Kiel, Germany. Yard no 1063.
Machinery: 2 x Siemens-Schuckertwerke steam turbines of 8,360 shp (total). Speed: 15 knots.
1971-sold to Bernuth Tankers Inc, renamed JEANE HANCOCK (Liberian flag).
1975-sold/renamed FRIENDSHIP L.
1977-to breakers at Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
Photo: Tilbury 1968 with one of the many consignments of Esso petroleum products she carried in the late 1960s from the refinery at Fawley to the distribution depot at Purfleet. Nowadays Esso Purfleet is supplied by a pipeline from Fawley.
