Hi Gerolf,
Thanks for posting on Shipspotting m.v."Bilal Bal".

2017-31-okt--Crew of sunken freighter missing.
The "Bilal Bal" sank in the night of Oct 31, 2017, with a crew of ten on board in the Black Sea 12 miles from Ağva Karacaköy at a water depth of 88 meters. The ship had sailed from Istanbul at 8.45 p.m. and was bound for Eregli in the Zonguldak province with a cargo of 3.800 tons cast iron from the northwestern Turkish province of Bursa. An SAR operation was launched seven miles from the coast of Şile by the Turkish Coastguard with three patrol boats, one helicopter, an aircraft and the "Kıyem 1", "Kıyem 5" and "Kıyem 8" as wekk merchant ships and Coastguard tugs. A naval ship with a ROV and sonar was also requested from the Naval Forces command. So far only rescue boats and life jackets have been found. Besides the captain Refik Telci, the Second Captain Cüneyd Yedican, Chief Engineer Ali Doğan, Second Mechanic Hüsamettin Yazıcı and the deckhands Mert İlkmen, Nihat Küçük, Nedim Alicem, Sabri Yıldırım, Engin Selçuk and Vedat Odabaşı were aboard the sunken ship.
