Strong southeasterlies 37kn gusting 47 according to the lighthouse Paul, lumpy outside the Heads, not too bad in the bay.
The bitumen is kept about 160 degC during transit MattyBoy, so it remains liquid at all times. At those temperatures, you need to take a lot of care handling it.

Agreed - well caught. Love those choppy waters. What is High Heat Bitumen? I've googled it but not much came up. Is it kept at a high temperature whilst in transit? Does it affect stability if it solidifies? Does it even solidify?
