Delivered on February 10, 1960; commissioned at Cleveland, OH, on May 17, 1960. Transferred to overseas duty in England in 1989. In 1992 returned to the Corps' Wilmington District. In 1993 was deemed surplus equipment and turned over to NC Marine Fisheries Dept.
Scuttled by controlled explosives, fall 1995, about 18 miles southeast of Masonboro Inlet, NC in 78 feet of water.
