The old ferry "Spectrum of Scandinavia" (MF Broen) arrived from Nyborg/Denmark on 05-07-2018 where she was laid up during towing of Hunter IMO: 9468372 and Egesund IMO: 9059248 to Grenaa / Denmark.

The ferry was delivered as a newbuilding to the Danish state railways in 1952 where she sailed the route Korsør - Nyborg / Denmark.

For a number of years, the ferry has served as a disco and restaurant ship.

Disco was arranged on the ferry deck which means that the ferry's interior, engine, wheelhouse and the fine salons are in a fairly good condition.

The owner and Grenaa Harbour believe that it can become a great museum ship and will therefore try if they can find some investors who will go into the project in order to restore the ship. If it succeeded, the ship will then be lying in Grenaa.
