They left the stumps and some winches for being able to open the hatches. Wire operated McGregor type. You can see still the black blocks attached to the stumps

JING JIANG had double exhausters as well as BOLESLAW PRUS. Would they have reduced the amount from four to two during a conversion?
ILSE SCHULTE had no exhausters on the winch house.
HILDESHEIM had flanged accommodation as well as her sisters built in Bremen by AG Weser.
I think that Phil is right with his opinion that the ship has been withdrawn from international class and at that point likely deleted from registers. And I fear that we will get no satisfying information.

Look at the red lead on the lower accomodation block. Rust getting worse after another three years, despite being repainted?

definitely an old freigther type 36/36L with removed loading gear. Most vessels of this type were built here in Bremerhaven at AG Weser Werk Seebeck.
